Off to see the doctor

Carter had his one year appt. recently and he weighed in at 18lbs and was 28.5 inches long! That is a far cry from the 5lbs. 1 oz. 17 inches he was at birth. The doctor said that he looks great. We did not get any vaccinations because Carter had been on a round of steroids for croup. I was so glad, no mommy wants to see their baby get shots, so at least I can put it off for a few more weeks. Now that Carter is one this is what he is doing:

• Walking/running with his push behind toys
• Cruising along furniture
• Taking a few unassisted steps
• Eating tons of table food (all good stuff of course)
• 100% on whole milk no more formula!!
  
• Says Mom and Dada when he needs our attention.
• Is getting good at putting things in and out of containers
• Loves playing in his ball pit and climbing!
• Still only has two little teeth... we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of more!
  

I thought it would be neat to post a picture of Carter as a newborn and now... enjoy!
