I am a long time reader, first time participator in Not Me Monday!
I have not been putting off taking down my Christmas decorations using the excuse, but they look so pretty, when really I am just far to lazy to pull out all those totes yet again.
Last night at dinner I did not give in to my screaming 20 month old when he insisted on fruit snacks before his dinner, it was not then followed up by a 'whatever is left over' dinner that I am sure had one consistent food group, CARBS!
I certainly did not add to my resolution list, personally not publicly, that I will shower everyday in 2010.... I mean who would do that, is it not a given that we bathe ourselves daily.......

Hi! So I came over here from MckMama and I have got to say that we must be related...our baby boys look a lot alike! Of course, my Neil is younger, but seeing your cutie Carter is like looking into the future. WEIRD. Ha! Loved your post. I, too, gave Neil mostly CARBS last night and felt so guilty. He just ate some green beans, so I feel better now. - Anna
ReplyDeleteI'm so with you. The motivation to shower daily should just be a given...but here I sit greasy and pajama clad again! Oh, and technically the Christmas season isn't even over yet...its only the 11th day of Christmas today...the 6th is Epiphany and in some countries they celebrate until Feb. 2nd. So there you go...a few more excuses :) Glad you joined in the fun!

ReplyDeleteWelcome to blogging! I hope you stick with Not Me Monday, it's a lot of fun. I made my husband take down the tree while I was at work today; I didn't have the heart to do it myself. Apparently, my daughter wasn't happy with it-- she started screaming at him once she realized what he was doing!

ReplyDeleteI could totally relate to all of your Not Me's, although I did finally take down the Christmas decorations tonight, and I wouldn't even attempt to resolve to shower every day. I most certainly did not spend my entire day in my workout clothes without showering today :)
