I Heart You!

Today I was feeling.... well blah... we have been snowed in for three straight days. Carter was getting antsy to get out and about and so was I but that was just not possible! So.... we decided to busy with some Valentines Day crafting! Carter loves doing little projects as long as they are not to labor intensive because his attention span is-oh about 2.5 minutes!! We did this fun project to make some decorations for our fridge.

I layed out a big ole piece of paper and let him go to town do dadding and scribbling away and I definitely got in on the fun! When he seemed a little bored with that I asked him to point to his favorite part of the picture and I drew a heart around it. We practiced the word heart and after about the fifth heart he got it... it came out "arts" hey works for me!!

I added a few of my favorite parts and then I cut them all out! He had fun spreading them out and looking at the design then we got to decorating! Our house looks a tiny bit more festive now!
